THE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG IS TO RAISE INTEREST AND STIMULATE DISCUSSION
AMONG PATIENTS, FAMILIES, DOCTORS, AND RESEARCHERS CONCERNED WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. please ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING
civil discourse GUIDELINES:

  • The opinions expressed here are those of the writer(s) alone. They do not represent any institution, the MS field, or any other specific entity other than the writer(s).
  • The writers are allowed to have a point of view about various aspects of the disease, including its causes. These opinions may or may not be factually correct or even well supported. Some risk taking is allowed in order to advance our knowledge of the disease.
  • The articles included will not be referenced. The opinions, in general, should be supported by the medical literature and experience but extensive referencing is not in the spirit of blog dialogue.
  • MS stands for multiple sclerosis, not morphine sulfate or mitral stenosis or anything else.
  • The writers will avoid the first and second person (I, you). There will be exceptions to this rule as necessary.
  • Replies and challenges to the opinions stated are encouraged. Discussion is good because it can help move the field forward.
  • Insulting or threatening messages will not be tolerated.
  • Anonymous posting will not be allowed. The goal here is to have a civil discussion to move the field forward not to play hide and seek.
  • Everyone must keep the patients in mind. They are the ones suffering and dealing with the disabilities. Nothing shared here should ever set the patients back.
  • Other guidelines may be added later, as necessary to promote the goals of the blog.
